Ugandan young rapper Fresh Kid has issued a distressing plea for assistance following the alleged abduction of his social media handler, SmallQ. The incident unfolded from Thailand to Myanmar, where SmallQ and 20 other Ugandans were reportedly lured under false pretenses of IT employment.

Fresh Kid took to social media on Friday to shed light on the dire situation. He urged the Ugandan government, Uganda Police Force, the International Community, media houses, political parties, and fellow citizens to collaborate in the urgent rescue mission for SmallQ and the other victims.

In a heartfelt post, Fresh Kid detailed the situation: “This is SmallQ, a friend and my social media handler. He was kidnapped from Thailand to Myanmar with more than 20 other Ugandans. They were promised IT jobs but instead were forced into ‘MODERN DAY SLAVES’ in Myanmar.”

Expressing concern for the well-being of his compatriots, Fresh Kid implored, “On behalf of our brothers and sisters who are being tortured there, I am calling upon our government, Uganda Police Force, International Community, all media houses, political parties, and every Ugandan to please help our people.”

Fresh Kid’s plea has triggered widespread concern and calls for action on social media, with many rallying to support the appeal for assistance. The urgency of the situation has prompted authorities and the public to address the reported abductions and work towards ensuring the safe return of the affected Ugandans.
