Grammy nominee Eddy Kenzo is set to lead the charge at the upcoming third edition of the All Africa Festival (AAF) at Etihad Park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on February 2, 2024.

The festival, which stands as a vibrant celebration of Africa’s diverse cultural heritage, boasts an impressive lineup featuring renowned African artists such as Omah Lay, Diamond Platnumz, Yemi Alade, Tekno, Skales, Kofi Olomide, and Nora Fatehi.

In the heart of Abu Dhabi’s iconic family entertainment hub, the three-day extravaganza promises a harmonious blend of global music icons, local talents, and DJs, offering a unique experience for attendees.

Nina Olatoke, the CEO and co-founder of the All Africa Festival, eagerly expressed her enthusiasm for bringing the festival to Yas Island. Reflecting on the journey that began in Dubai’s Creek Park in 2018, Olatoke is optimistic that the selected artists will leave a lasting impact.

“Over five years, we’ve crafted a festival that opens its arms to people of all nationalities, inviting them to feel the pulsating rhythm of Africa,” said Olatoke, emphasizing the inclusive nature of the event.

The decision to relocate the festival to Abu Dhabi aligns with the UAE’s commitment to embracing diversity, reflecting the increasing presence of African professionals who have found opportunities in the country. The move is expected to further enhance the festival’s cultural resonance.

Crucial to the success of the event are strategic partnerships with UAE Africa Connect, the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, and Miral, the visionary creator of immersive destinations.

With a spotlight on the globally popular African music genres of Amapiano and Afrobeats, the All Africa Festival aims to capitalize on past triumphs. Its goal is to draw both residents and tourists into an annual celebration of African culture set against the backdrop of the UAE’s rich cultural diversity.
