MK Movement Makes Waves in Mitooma with First-Ever Event

Mitooma District, Uganda: Thousands of MK Movement supporters gathered in Mitooma district, witnessing the historic first-ever MK Movement event organized by Mayor Kashenshero Town Council, Hon. Edgar, with guidance from MK Movement central committee members, Hon. Micheal Mawanda (Head of Discipline), and Hon. Daudi Kabanda (Deputy Spokesperson).

The event marked the inaugural gathering for the MK Movement in 2024, setting a significant landmark for the year.

The Baraza attracted masses from all corners of the country, including NRA Bush war historicals Rt Gen Kale Kaihura and Rt Brig Gen Mujuni. Both emphasized the importance of consolidating the peace and stability that bush war revolutionaries fought for.

Gen Kare Kaihura, in his address, expressed gratitude to the Movement for reorganizing the youth towards a revolutionary agenda. He commended MK Movement for doing what the NRM youth league should be doing.

“On behalf of all historicals, there is no reason to worry or oppose these young people under MK Movement. Whatever they are doing is for the good of this country, and we should accord them maximum respect, guidance, and support as they champion continued peace and stability,” emphasized Gen Kaihura. His speech resonated with the audience, bridging ideological gaps among some supporters.

Rt Hon Tayebwa Thomas, the Chairman of the MK Movement, was fully represented by the Deputy Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda. In his message, the deputy clarified that the movement has no intentions of fighting anyone in Mitooma.

“Amidst my busy schedule, where do I get time to engage in unnecessary wars?” questioned Tayebwa. He encouraged the youth to embrace government programs like PDM and engage in sports, echoing the sentiments of Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

The speaker cautioned excited youth against distractions, urging them to avoid divisive actions claiming to favor Mzee Museveni more than his son or vice versa. Tayebwa emphasized the importance of refraining from being sponsored to share dangerous videos on social media, as such actions can have lasting consequences.
