Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has addressed speculations regarding the release date of the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) 2023 results, following reports circulating on social media.
While the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results have been released by UNEB and the education ministry, anticipation remains high for the UCE results.
Marking and grading of the UCE 2023 examination papers were completed last month, according to sources, but UNEB has not yet announced the release date.
Similar to the process for PLE results, the announcement of the UCE results release date typically follows a briefing with education minister, First Lady Janet Museveni.
However, with the delay in the briefing and announcement, speculations have arisen among Ugandans regarding the UCE 2023 results release date.
UNEB has moved to dismiss these speculations, stating that the official communication regarding the release date will come from the board itself. However, the board did not provide a specific timeline for when this communication will occur.
In a statement, UNEB emphasized the need to disregard any unofficial information regarding the release date and assured that the board will communicate the official date for the release of the 2023 UCE Results in due course.
