Abim, Uganda: The Abim District Council held a special council session to honor the late Brigadier General Vincent Okello Labi in Abuk Town Council, Abim District. Brigadier General Labi passed away earlier this week.
The council session was attended by several dignitaries, including the Chief Mourner MP Abim Ochero Norman Jimricky, Commander of the Uganda Air Force Lieutenant Gen. Charles Okidi, RDC Abim Shilaku James, and RDC Samuel Mpimbaza.
During the session, it was resolved to name one of the roads in Abuk Town Council after the late Brig. Gen. Vincent Okello Labi, in recognition of his significant contributions to the development and security of Uganda.
Other attendees at the council meeting included Omara Yuventine Adyeda, Rev. Ringisi, Rtd. Maj. Omaro from Kanu in Abim Sub-county, district councilors, among others.
