Bobi Wine Extends Thanks to Makerere University for Six Years of Trust in National Unity Platform

Bobi Wine, leader of the National Unity Platform (NUP), expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Makerere University for continuously placing trust in their party for six consecutive years.

He acknowledged the support of previous student leaders such as Julius Kateregga, Ssempijja Ivan, Nambassa Shamim, Alionzi Lawrence Dangote, Maseruka Robert, and most recently, Lubega Vincent Nsamba, who emerged victorious in the latest Guild elections.




In his congratulatory message to Nsamba, Bobi Wine commended him for his triumph despite facing numerous challenges and obstacles throughout the electoral process. He encouraged Nsamba to leverage his newfound position to champion the cause of freedom and democracy, emphasizing the importance of serving the people’s interests.




Bobi Wine also extended his congratulations to the entire Institutions team for their commendable performance, applauding them for a job well done.




The university has served as a key stronghold for the National Unity Platform, with student leaders playing pivotal roles in advancing the party’s agenda and values on campus.
