It has been revealed that 695 personnel within the Uganda Police Force have been identified as unverified in response to the findings of the payroll audit conducted by the Office of the Auditor General. Unit commanders across various divisions are tasked with accessing the list of affected personnel, which is available on the official police website at www.upf.go.ug.

Subsequently, it is mandated that unit commanders inform the personnel under their respective commands about the necessity to report to the National Archives and Records Centre (NARC) of the Ministry of Public Service. This facility is situated adjacent to the Ministry of Health. The verification exercise is scheduled to commence on the 15th of April 2024 and will continue until the 17th of May 2024. It will be conducted from Monday to Friday, during the hours of 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
