On Thursday, day one of her campaign rallies in Kwalongwen Sub-county, Dokolo District, Adongo Janet Elau, commonly known as “Imat Voucher,” vowed to improve the health and education sectors as she rallied voters in the area on the benefits of voting for the NRM flag bearer.
Accompanied by Hon. Sseninde Nsubuga Rosemary of the NRM secretariat, Ogwang Sammy, the NRM publicity officer, Owera Alex, among other key dignitaries, Adongo promised to enhance the health and education sectors of Dokolo once elected as the Woman MP for Dokolo District on March 21, 2024.
Mr. Ogwang Sammy, the NRM party publicity secretary for Dokolo District, urged the people of Dokolo to turn up in great numbers and vote for Janet Elau Adongo since she will lobby for many government programs, including bursaries and the upgrade of Dokolo Health Center IV to the status of a district hospital, for the benefit of the Wanahinci.
Rosemary Nsubuga Seninde, in charge of mobilization at the NRM secretariat, urged the people of Dokolo not to be deceived by propaganda from some members of the opposition or other candidates because most decisions are made in the NRM Parliamentary caucus. She urged everyone to vote early on March 21, 2024, for the yellow bus symbol where Adongo Elau will be on the ballot alongside the NRM logo.
A 43-year-old voter from Kwalongwen Sub-county told the media that they are very ready to take Adongo to Parliament.
