Bobi Wine Calls for Action in Kabaka Birthday Run Against HIV/AIDS

Yesterday, leaders and members of the National Unity Platform (NUP), led by its President Bobi Wine, visited the Katikkiro of Buganda Kingdom, Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga. The purpose of their visit was to deliver a contribution towards the #KabakaBirthdayRun scheduled for April 7th, 2024. Bobi Wine expressed gratitude for the warm reception they received from the Katikkiro.

During the meeting, Bobi Wine encouraged everyone to participate in the Kabaka Birthday Run and support its theme for this year, which focuses on the fight against HIV/AIDS. He emphasized the importance of heeding the call of His Majesty the Kabaka and getting involved in efforts to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS.




The Kabaka Birthday Run is an annual event organized to celebrate the birthday of the Kabaka of Buganda and raise awareness about important social issues. This year, the run is dedicated to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and promoting prevention and treatment measures.
