Museveni Back in Uganda After Productive Kenya Trip

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has returned to Uganda after completing a three-day State Visit to Nairobi, Kenya. During his visit, President Museveni engaged in fruitful discussions with His Excellency, William Samoei Ruto, the President of Kenya, focusing on various matters of mutual interest and exploring opportunities for cooperation.

The bilateral talks between President Museveni and President Ruto were complemented by meetings with government officials from both countries. The discussions aimed to strengthen collaboration across multiple sectors, including transport and infrastructure, trade and investment, immigration, regional integration, peace and security, and counter-terrorism efforts.




President Museveni was bid farewell at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi by Rt. Hon Raila Odinga and other senior Kenyan government officials, marking the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in Kenya.




Upon his arrival at Entebbe International Airport, President Museveni was warmly received by several dignitaries, including Lucy Nakyobe, the Head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet, Brig. Gen. Charity Bainababo, Deputy Commander of the Special Forces Command (SFC), AIGP Godfrey Golooba, Uganda Police Director of Human Resource Development, Samuel Akena, Deputy Commissioner General of Prisons, and Brig. Gen. David Gonyi, Chief of Staff- Air Force.
