Okidi Patrick, Amolatar – The LC3 chairperson of Nalubwoyo Sub-county in Amolatar district has openly abandoned the FDC Party and declared total support for the NRM, especially in favor of H.E. Gen. Yoweri Museveni Kaguta for the upcoming 2026 term.
In an exclusive interview with our reporter on Saturday, Ocen Alfred Yubu extensively expressed his total support for Y.K. Museveni, saying he is a leader sent by God to liberate Uganda. Ocen stated that several good government programs have been absent in their area due to political ignorance. He urged all the people of Amolatar district to vote 99 percent for President Museveni and to cast one percent of invalid votes.
Ocen Yubu congratulated H.E. the President of the Republic of Uganda and the UPDF Engineering Brigade for the construction of Nalubwoyo Health Centre III. He noted that previously, people had to travel to Amolatar Health Centre IV for treatment, but now there have been significant changes in health service delivery and other sectors like PDM funds for wealth creation in his area.
He promised to give H.E. Museveni a gift but did not disclose the details to our reporter, to show his political support. He cautioned opposition politicians in Amolatar district not to challenge the NRM party and especially His Excellency President Museveni Kaguta in the 2026 elections, predicting he would win by a significant margin.
“I was an FDC supporter, but now I have decided on my own to support President Museveni because of the health facility and benefits he has given us. I will be campaigning for Museveni and mobilizing my people for the NRM instead of supporting the opposition,” said Ocen.
