The National Resistance Movement youth pressure group, Generation Seven (G7), headed by their National Coordinator, Mr. Stephen Mukasa, has vowed to promote and maintain the legacy of their Chairman and the President of Uganda, H.E. Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
They are embarking on sensitizing Ugandans, especially the youth, about the Musevenomics ideology, which includes many government programs that have enabled Ugandans to change their lives, such as the Parish Development Model, Emyooga, NAADS, and others.
While in a meeting at the NRM Secretariat in Kyadondo with the Secretary for Mobilization in the Office of the 2nd Vice Chairperson and the Deputy Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, Mr. Robert Mutemu applauded the role of the team during the 2021 general elections, where they mobilized Ugandans to support NRM, enabling President Museveni and many other members to win elections.
However, the National Coordinator, Mr. Stephen Mukasa, condemned the Secretariat for the lack of monetary support to the many NRM pressure groups, which act as foot soldiers for the NRM party. He noted that instead, money is wasted on activities that are not beneficial to the country, leading to a loss of morale for further working for the party.
Mr. Mukasa also promised to awaken the youth for continuous support of the party and encouraged them to involve themselves in developmental programs to reduce poverty across the country. “We are revamping our mobilization and sensitization strategies to inform the public more about the new government programs.

Our President is putting much effort into improving our socioeconomic status, but other leaders are not giving him a hand,” said Mr. Mukasa.
Mr. Robert Mutemu looked perturbed after the team informed him that they have never received any mobilization funds from the party, including the President himself, yet they invested a lot of money during the 2021 general election campaigns.
He had heard rumors that the team had received a ransom of money after the campaigns through special dignitaries who claimed to be the patrons, which the team denied.
Since the meeting involved mostly the national steering team, including the Eastern Region Generation Seven coordinators, he assured them that they would meet the Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, who is still abroad for other government official duties.
