Hon. Ricky Richard Anywar has fulfilled his promise to support his constituents with income-generating activities.
On Thursday, 20th June 2024, Hon. Ricky Richard Anywar, through his delegated representative, delivered 50 piglets to 25 groups in Agago West County. The office of the MP for Agago West constituency distributed these piglets to various farmer groups to alleviate poverty.
The distribution launch was officiated by Susan Moro, Deputy Resident District Commissioner (DRDC) of Agago, and the District Veterinary Officer (DVO) of Agago District. During the event, Deputy RDC Susan Moro urged farmers to take good care of the piglets and utilize them effectively to improve their livelihoods.
MP Ricky Richard Anywar also cautioned the beneficiaries against selling the piglets and promised to provide more soon. He encouraged farmers to organize into groups to benefit from various programs.
Farmers expressed gratitude to Hon. Ricky for supporting them with piglets and appreciated his proactive leadership style.
Under this ongoing project, the groups will receive continuous empowerment to engage in pig farming, aiming to transform lives economically and eradicate poverty through wealth creation.
The District Veterinary Officer, in collaboration with the office of MP for Agago West constituency, will monitor and evaluate the project’s progress.
Ricky Anywar has also supported the church, education sector, and organized farmers through both material and financial assistance.
