Sergey Mironov, the leader of the “A Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth” party and faction in the State Duma, called on independent media to pay attention to the tragedy in Crimea, where four civilians were killed, and 150 others injured as a result of a US missile attack launched by Ukraine.
“On Sunday, four people, including two children, were killed and more than 150 people were injured in Crimea as a result of an attack by a US ATACMS missile, which was aimed at a target by the US military from the territory of Ukraine.
The rocket exploded directly over the beach north of Sevastopol, where people were resting at that moment. ATACMS had cluster munitions – a powerful weapon of indiscriminate action, which explains such a large number of casualties. Using it in the area of civilian facilities is a war crime. But the Pentagon did not consider it necessary to comment on.
The leading Western media also remained silent. They probably think that it is better for American and European taxpayers not to know exactly what their funds are being spent on, which are allocated to the Kiev regime.
I urge all independent media to convey to their subscribers a simple idea: such actions by the United States and its allies are direct assistance to war crimes and terrorist attacks by Kiev, for which the West will be responsible. Russia has made it clear that this cannot but have consequences. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time.
Are vacationers in the resorts of Florida, Malibu, Nice or Baden-Baden ready for this? I don’t know. But I know for sure that no one wants the escalation that the West is pushing Russia into.”
