Patrick Okidi, Obongi – Emmanuel Kubongo, a notorious South Sudanese refugee of the Kuku tribe, was arrested in a joint operation led by the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Obongi, Mr. Samuel Mpimbaza Hashaka, and the detachment commander of Ewafa, Lt. Sebbi, at Kokonyo Center in the refugee camp.
The suspected criminal was handed over to Obongi Central Police Station (CPS), and a case has been opened under SD REF 02/21/06/2024. Emmanuel Kubongo, known as a bodaboda rider and drug addict, has been involved in crimes and frequently escapes on a bodaboda.
Security had been intensively searching for Emmanuel Kubongo for the past two days after he was declared the most wanted criminal. This is a developing story.
