Today, patriots from Mbarara district gathered at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds in Kampala to celebrate the enduring achievements of Mzee Museveni, praising his steadfast leadership and transformative impact on Uganda’s development.
Mzee Museveni is credited with restoring peace, championing social-economic transformation through poverty alleviation programs, and fostering democracy, allowing Ugandans to freely elect their leaders.
The Mbarara district patriots vowed to uphold democratic principles and expressed their intent to vote for Hon Loydah Muhimbura as their woman Member of Parliament in the upcoming 12th Parliament elections in 2026. They highlighted Hon Loydah’s advocacy for improved service delivery, particularly in health, education, clean water, women and youth empowerment, and infrastructure.
Hon Loydah Muhimbura, recognized as the best Model farmer in the Western region and nationwide, was recently honored to speak on behalf of Model Farmers in Uganda before President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. She has been commended for championing the 4 Acre Model system, creating employment opportunities for over 300 youths, and promoting value addition programs such as Lit Yogurt, Lit TV, Lit Radio, and Lit Bread, which enhance local product markets and job creation.
Currently serving as a district woman councilor representing Rubaya sub-county, Hon Loydah has dedicated herself to empowering women and youth groups in Mbarara, contributing livestock and resources to supplement government programs like PDM, Emyooga, and YLP.
Mbarara residents believe that Hon Loydah Muhimbura’s leadership in parliament will significantly advance the district’s development agenda, echoing their message to the entire country during the celebrations of Mzee Museveni’s achievements.
