Engineer Sewava, the head of political mobilization in the Office of the Minister for the Presidency, has expressed his deep condolences to the family and friends of the late State Minister for Defence, Sarah Mateke, who passed away yesterday due to a heart attack at Mengo Hospital.
In a heartfelt statement, Sewava described Mateke as a great leader, a patriot, a mother, and a leader with noble character. “For the time I have known and worked with the late Mateke, she was never involved in any scandals of corruption or any other wrongdoing, which made her a unique figure,” he said.
Sewava emphasized that the loss of Mateke is a significant blow not only to President Museveni but also to the entire nation. “Sarah will be missed and will forever remain in our hearts. May God grant her peaceful eternal rest and comfort her family in this trying time,” he concluded.
