The public was left stunned this week after a video emerged of singer Douglas Mayanja, known as Weasel, throwing household items out of his Neverland Home in Makindye, which he claimed belonged to Chagga.
Chagga is a well-known veteran musician in the country and has maintained a close relationship with both the Goodlyf and Dr. Jose Chameleone’s Leone Island.
In fact, he served as Goodlyf’s manager before Radio passed away in 2018. A video from a few years back featured Radio expressing that Chagga could never be dismissed, referring to him as a musical father figure.
The Neera singer shared how Chagga was responsible for discovering him and introducing him to Chameleone and Weasel.
Consequently, Weasel faced heavy criticism online following this video. The singer, known for having a history of violence, was largely deemed at fault by social media users. Weasel was heard in the clip stating that he sought an apology from Chagga, who refused, leading him to decide to evict him.
There were rumors of an incident involving Chagga and Weasel’s wife, Sandra Teta. Indeed, a video has emerged of Chagga striking Teta and one of her female companions.
The footage shows the group engaged in a heated discussion in a public space before Chagga balls his fist and punches Sandra, and when her friend retaliates, he assaults her as well. Weasel shared this video on social media, claiming it marked the origin of this dispute and nothing more.

In the meantime, another video has surfaced showing Chagga lying in a hospital bed and appearing to be critically injured. However, Weasel dismissed this, mocking it as a desperate tactic to evade legal consequences.
Weasel’s brother, Pallaso, commented on the situation, stating that he is unaware of the specifics but does know that Chagga has never resided with Weasel and has his own residence in Najjanankumbi.
