The Bishop of Kabale Diocese Rt Rev. Callist Rubaramira has confirmed 257 Christians into catholic faith at Gisoro catholic parish in Kisoro Municipality.
Rt Rev Callistus Rubaramira yesterday 8th December urged the public to always make plans for their families which will help to develop the status of our families.
Rubaramira noted that as the year comes to end families should design proper plans for their families which will help them to work with aim and develop our families.
Rubaramira noted,” 2024 is soon ending because we are now in December meaning 2025 is knocking the door, parents in your families you always make plans, accountability and budget for everything thing you will be doing in order to develop your families “.
Rt Rev. Rubaramira futher told parents that children are taught by them because a home of a Christian is the foundation of the church when there is peace in that family.
Bishop Rubaramira also acknowledged Christians who supported them during the fundraising of Bishop’s Annual Appeal Fund (BAAF), that was conducted on Saturday, 02, 2024 where 166 million shillings was collected both in cash and pledges revealing that the commercial building in Kigongi Ward, Kabale Municipality on plot 10, Kabale-Mbarara road wil support different families economically.
Father Mbabazi Alfonse of St. Peters Gisoro catholic parish said that the reason for the confirmation is to ensure that Christians are taught values of the church and true Christians and therefore become warriors of Jesus Christ.
Father Mbabazi asked Christians to hold fast Jesus Christ to have a good life where he said these days there are people who believe that a church is for people who are old yet it is not the case.
Meanwhile confirmed Christians expressed joy and happiness where they noted that they have made a great improvement in Christ which will help them to fight evil.
They acknowledged the work done by their parents and the Catholic church for being groomed as God fearing and loving situation.
