Abim, Uganda – A large bull, generously donated by Mr. Olwit Nelson, has arrived at Abim Senior Secondary School in preparation for the Old Students Reunion scheduled for Monday. A much-anticipated highlight of the event will be a football match between teachers and former students, followed by a celebratory bull roast.
Abim Senior Secondary School, established in the 1980s, is set to host its inaugural Old Students Reunion on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the school compound.
According to Mr. Olwit Nelson Otim, the Chairperson of the Old Students Association, the day’s agenda includes:
- Election of a new Executive Committee
- Launch of Old Students projects and fundraising initiatives
- Games and sports activities
- A festive bull roast, refreshments, and entertainment
To support the reunion, Mr. Olwit Nelson has graciously donated a bull to enhance the celebratory atmosphere. Over 3000 people are expected to attend the event, with invitations extended to individuals from all walks of life.
In a separate interview, Mr. Olwit urged all alumni of Abim SS to keep the school close to their hearts.
