“As we approach the end of 2024, we reflect on the path we’ve walked together and look forward with hope,” the People Power Front (PPF) stated in a document released today, marking the end of a significant year in the movement’s journey.

In the document, the PPF expressed their heartfelt gratitude to supporters, partners, and well-wishers who have stood by them through thick and thin.

They acknowledged that it was the unwavering belief of their followers in the vision for a better, progressive, and more just Uganda that had fueled their continued efforts, especially during critical phases of their work.

With the dawn of a new year, the PPF is more determined than ever to pursue their vision of transformative politics and alternative governance.

In a significant announcement, they revealed plans to officially unveil the People Power Front as a registered political party early in 2025, a move that will officially mark the beginning of a new chapter in Uganda’s political landscape.

This step will include the formal establishment of their leadership structure, signaling a shift toward a more organized and strategic approach as they prepare for the political challenges ahead.

Looking further ahead to 2026, the PPF has outlined a series of strategic engagements and events to ensure their supporters, as well as the wider Ugandan community, are fully prepared for the upcoming elections. “We are focused on building a strong, inclusive, and forward-thinking institution that truly reflects the aspirations of Ugandans and provides viable solutions to the challenges that face our nation,” the document emphasized.

The PPF plans to continue working hard to empower citizens, urging them to actively participate in shaping Uganda’s future.

In their message, the PPF also made a call for unity, stressing that the path to transforming Uganda’s leadership would only be possible with the collective strength and dedication of all Ugandans. “Together, we must prioritize Uganda’s future, not just for the present, but for the generations to come,” they said, highlighting the importance of a united front in the battle for a better Uganda.

As they march toward the upcoming year, the PPF reassured Ugandans that their participation in the political discourse will be thoughtful and responsible, acknowledging the need for cooperation in a multiparty system.

They are committed to recognizing the different perspectives of other political players while staying true to their own mission of creating meaningful change for the people.

“We thank you once again for your continued dedication, and with your support, we are confident that 2025 will be a year of significant change for our country,” the PPF concluded in their document, inviting all to join them in shaping the future of Uganda.

In the words of an old proverb, “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, but the second best time is now.” With a clear vision for the future and a deep-rooted commitment to transformation, the PPF is ready to take the next step, with the people of Uganda walking alongside them towards a brighter tomorrow.
