Youth currently undergoing skills training at the State House Presidential Skills Training Hub in Adjumani have thanked President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa and the NRM government for initiating the skills training program.

They believe it will significantly contribute to their fight against poverty.

The youth, drawn from Adjumani, Moyo, and Obongi in the Madi sub-region, were meeting with the RDC of Obongi, Samuel Mpimbaza Hashaka, who was lecturing to them about socioeconomic transformation at the Madi Presidential Skills Hub in Adjumani District.

The youth requested the Obongi RDC to convey their appreciation to President Museveni for providing them with free training, accommodation, and food during the ongoing skills training program, which will conclude next month.

They expressed that they have already gained a great deal of knowledge and discipline through the skills training.

The RDC agreed to convey their appreciation to President Museveni. He advised the students to take the skills training seriously and to subsequently start income-generating projects, create employment opportunities, and combat poverty.
