Bukomansimbi North MP, Dr. Christine Ndiwalana of NUP had a close encounter with hostility from a group of mourners yesterday evening when they blamed her for being indirectly accountable for the death of a 20-year-old boda boda rider from her area.

Reports indicate that Marvin Kaweesi was allegedly hit by an ambulance associated with MP Ndiwalana, resulting in his death due to his injuries.

There were claims that the ambulance driver left the scene following the accident, leaving Kaweesi without any aid, and when boda boda riders reached out to Ndiwalana for assistance with medical expenses, they asserted that she did not reply.

One mourner mentioned that she ended the call when they requested help. Upon Ndiwalana’s arrival at Kaweesi’s funeral, tensions escalated.
