Equity Bank Uganda has maintained its commitment to philanthropy and community engagement through its ELP Chapter. This time, the Bank collaborated with the Equity Leaders Program MUBS Chapter and participated in events at the Farmer’s Market in Kireka.
They engaged in several community service activities, including cleaning up the market. In addition, the ELP MUBS Chapter received an invitation from the Chairperson of the Kireka Farmer’s Market to provide education to market vendors about important banking services.
The scholars actively contributed by assisting in opening bank accounts and promoting financial literacy within the community.
Furthermore, these young scholars took the initiative to give back by distributing branded items such as reflectors to Boda boda riders and Equity aprons to market vendors.
Alongside Equity Bank, these scholars have consistently demonstrated excellence in their community service. Their unwavering commitment and enthusiasm for supporting their communities is truly commendable.
At the same time, Equity Bank continues its community-focused initiatives, helping individuals in various ways. In this same month, the bank partnered with the ELP Chapter of Makerere University to extend similar services to Bwaise Market.
