Uganda to Host NAM and G77 + China Conferences in 2024

Uganda’s government is preparing to host two important international conferences in early January 2024. These conferences will bring together the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and the G77 countries along with China. Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, the Minister of ICT and National Guidance, announced this during a briefing at the Uganda Media Centre following the Monday Cabinet Resolutions.

Dr. Baryomunsi emphasized the significance of these meetings, stating that they demonstrate Uganda’s global standing and reputation. The conferences will provide a platform for dialogue and collaboration among participating nations.
