KAMPALA, UGANDA – Pastor Robert Kayanja of Miracle Centre Ministries has received a donation of Shs 50 million from Equity Bank Uganda to support an upcoming three-day crusade featuring renowned televangelist Benny Hinn.

The cheque was officially presented on Tuesday afternoon by Catherine Psomgen, Equity Bank Uganda’s Director of Public Sector & Social Investments.

This contribution is part of an ongoing partnership between Equity Bank and Pastor Kayanja’s ministry, which has previously included community development initiatives, notably the transformational agriculture project in Karamoja launched in 2023.

“This collaboration aligns with our purpose of transforming lives and restoring dignity in vulnerable communities,” said Psomgen during the handover.

“It also supports our Africa Recovery and Resilience Plan, particularly our commitment to increasing agricultural financing, which now makes up 30% of our total lending.”

The upcoming crusade is expected to attract large crowds and international attention, especially due to the participation of Benny Hinn, a globally recognized faith healer and televangelist.
