Kampala – The Ankole Times – The management of The Ankole Times wishes to issue a formal apology to Mr. Arthur Mbalule, the Board of Governors, and the management of Old Kampala Secondary School regarding a recent article published on our online platform.
The article, titled “Old Kampala SSS Head Teacher Mbalule Arthur Faces Arrest Over 22 Counts of Mismanagement and Fraud”, contained several inaccuracies and misleading claims that were both damaging and unsubstantiated.
Upon further review, we have found that the publication did not meet the journalistic standards we strive to uphold. The information presented was not only incorrect but also injurious to the reputation of Mr. Mbalule and the esteemed governing body of Old Kampala S.S.
We deeply regret the distress and reputational harm this article may have caused. We acknowledge that both Mr. Mbalule and the Board of Governors have consistently demonstrated dedication to the advancement of education and integrity in school management.
The Ankole Times fully retracts the article and extends an unreserved apology to Mr. Arthur Mbalule, the Board of Governors, and the entire Old Kampala Secondary School community. Steps have been taken to remove the content from all our platforms and ensure that such an oversight does not occur in the future.
