PLU Officials Must Reconcile — The Hatred Is Too Much. People Are Going to Kill Themselves — Buyinza Adam Luzindana

Some PLU members are fighting Hon. Nzeire, while others are fighting Hon. Mawanda. In PLU, everybody claims to talk to Gen. Muhoozi on the phone every day. Everyone in PLU claims to be highly connected to Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, and they have all used this to perpetrate scamming, brutality, threats, and sexual networks — even destroying people’s marriages.

Scammers in PLU are promising women jobs, connections, and money. It’s important to note that Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba does not support the misdeeds happening in PLU — but some people continue to use his name for personal gain. Some of us will always defend Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba from the criminals within PLU.

It’s also disheartening that some PLU members are fighting Hon. Haruna Kasolo while allying with criminals. PLU must rethink its direction, or it will die a natural death. The levels of hatred, envy, intrigue, blackmail, scamming, and sabotage are enough for a World Cup.

PLU is now the home of the Pull Him/Her Down (PHD) syndrome. If someone is more successful, why do you gang up on them? I’ve also noticed that the level of disrespect in PLU is beyond imagination. People just wake up and abuse PLU leaders, while those same leaders fight each other openly.

Posturing and masquerading now define some officials and members of PLU. This is really tainting the good name of Gen. Muhoozi. We shall do everything possible to defend Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba. Sadly, PLU was taken over by self-seekers.

When Mr. Michael Katungi was mentioned in a US statement implicating him, some PLU members celebrated. When Balaam was appointed Minister, others were bitter. When Sodo Kaguta was declared unopposed, people were bitter. When Toyota Kaguta successfully conducted community-based engagements, others accused him. When Kabanda David was appointed PLU SG, some PLU members almost collapsed. When Michael Mawanda was arrested, they celebrated.

When Frank Gashumba was introduced, some PLU leaders became bitter — some didn’t even attend his introduction. Others fought Gashumba simply because he met the President without their knowledge. When Kabanda went to the Vatican with Speaker Anita Among, some PLU officials accused him of misusing taxpayers’ money. Some even facilitated people to fight Kabanda David in Kasambya during the just-concluded NRM primaries. Others are fighting the Team Chairman General Secretary, claiming she is dominating them and taking their space.

Most members in PLU suffer from both superiority and inferiority complexes.

We thought PLU would be our safe home to run to in the face of NRM frustrations and misdeeds — but we were wrong.

All in all, I believe our leader, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, will prevail over the wrong characters in PLU. It’s time for PLU to rethink and give hope back to its members.
