Many women silently endure hardship in their marriages due to one frustrating issue: a stingy husband. Sarah, a mother of two from Mbarara, Uganda, found this to be the greatest challenge of her marriage for years.
Although her husband, Patrick, was a hardworking man, when it came to financially supporting their family, he completely changed. He refused to buy even basic household items, delayed paying school fees, and seemed to view giving money to his own family as a burden.
At first, Sarah thought this might just be a temporary phase, perhaps related to stress. She attempted to communicate calmly with him, explaining the financial pressures she faced, especially concerning the children’s needs.
However, every conversation ended in frustration. Patrick would argue, shut her down, or accuse her of being wasteful.
