After Three Failed Promotions, Entebbe Man Discovers the Simple Step That Changed His Career

Michael from Entebbe, Uganda had always dreamed of advancing in his career. He worked diligently at a logistics company, starting as an assistant, and believed that hard work and dedication would eventually lead him to a promotion.

He was known for arriving at work earlier than most, staying later, and taking on extra responsibilities. His supervisors admired his discipline, and Michael was confident that his time for a promotion had come when the company announced new openings.

However, when the results were announced, Michael was devastated to find that someone else had been selected. Though disappointed, he convinced himself that the other person must have had better qualifications. The following year, when another promotion opportunity arose, Michael went above and beyond.

He attended training sessions, prepared meticulously, and made sure his department was running smoothly. But once again, the promotion went to someone who had joined the company much later than he did. Michael hid his disappointment but was deeply hurt.
