KAMWENGE, Uganda — A 30-year-old man accused of masquerading as a legal advocate has been remanded to Kamwenge Government Prison until July 2, 2026, pending further hearing of his case.
The suspect, identified as Darius Ninsiima, a resident of Nsorora Cell in Kamwenge Town Council, Kamwenge District, was arrested on June 15, 2026, over allegations related to possession and use of false legal documents.
Prosecution alleges that Ninsiima presented himself as a qualified advocate while not being registered or authorized to practice law, an act that authorities say amounts to impersonation and forgery.
He was arraigned before court and denied bail, leading to his remand as investigations into the matter continue.
The case will return to court on July 2, 2026, for a further mention and hearing.
