I would like to ask everyone in Eastern and Northern Uganda never to be worried about the issues surrounding retired Gen. Peter Elwelu because our Chief of Defence Forces, the Badman General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who is also our chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda, is a forgiving person who is likely to sit down with his brother and comrade, Gen. Elwelu, and have a cup of tea at the roundtable.
My only appeal to our Badman General Muhoozi, our next leader, is to quicken this process so that we have firm ground to intensify our PLU mobilisation in the greater Teso region.
I have realised that members of the PLU in the greater North Eastern region are finding it hard to continue with mobilisation and even register our new members in the book due to various questions surrounding Gen. Elwelu.
I have also noticed that PLU supporters in Teso are living with fears because they cannot defend several questions raised by the masses whom we are persuading to join the league.
But I want to ask the general public to calm down, not to be worried, and leave the issues of generals to generals.
In fact, the Teso region needs the support of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba for development.
