Music, Fashion, Culture! Miss Uganda 2025 Unveiling Thrills Audience at Sheraton Kampala

Kampala, Uganda – The quest for the Miss Uganda 2025 crown has officially entered its most exciting stage, as 26 finalists were introduced to the nation in a sparkling showcase at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.

The glamorous unveiling, held on Friday night, blended fashion, culture, and entertainment, leaving guests and viewers captivated. The event was broadcast live on StarTimes Makula KiKa, giving audiences across the country a front-row seat to the beginning of this year’s beauty race.

From red-carpet arrivals to dazzling stage walks, the night brought together elegance and youthful energy, affirming Miss Uganda’s position as one of the most anticipated events in the country’s cultural calendar.

Entertainment highlights included soulful performances from Tracy Mellon, a vibrant set by An Known, and live music from the VIPI Band. The showcase drew a star-studded audience of former queens, fashion icons, sponsors, and excited fans.

StarTimes Marketing Director Isma Lule described the event as “a defining moment,” adding that the finalists reflect the grace, ambition, and cultural pride that Miss Uganda represents.

Corporate partners supporting this year’s pageant include V&A, Vaseline, Xiaomi, Entikko, Uhome, Mbale Industrial Park, Reach A Hand Uganda, Sheraton Kampala Hotel, Print Creations, Kiira Motors, NRG, Lapaire, and lead sponsor Tianao Furniture.

Vice President of StarTimes, Kenneth Kazooba, applauded parents and supporters for standing behind the contestants: “Uganda is blessed with exceptionally talented young women, and selecting just 26 finalists was an incredibly difficult task.”

Project Manager Shillah Nazziwa highlighted the pageant’s growth since 2023, noting the impact of past queens Hannah Karema and Natasha Nyonyozi on the Miss World stage.

With the unveiling complete, the finalists will now embark on weeks of activities, from talent showcases to community projects, all leading up to the Grand Finale on September 20, 2025.

The eventual winner will represent Uganda at Miss World, carrying not only the crown but also a mission of purpose, cultural pride, and leadership.
