Entertainment presenter and music manager, Edwin Katamba, commonly known as MC Kats, has threatened to disclose a supposed secret about NUP leader and politician, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, also known as Bobi Wine. In a live video, Kats stated that he has kept a secret regarding Bobi Wine for many years.
Kats claims that this incident occurred around 2015 when he was younger, but he opted to remain silent about it. Supposedly, this took place in Kabalagala, and the Kabalagala Police Station is aware of it, but it has been concealed and overlooked.
The NBS TV presenter mentioned that if he were to reveal this information, it would lead the entire international community to question the integrity of the former MP. He further cautioned the singer of Aidah that if his supporters continue to insult him, his children, and his HIV status, he has no reason to hold back.
He intends to expose the secrets during the upcoming elections and is unafraid of any repercussions, even if it may cost him his life. Thus, the veteran TV presenter urged Bobi Wine to control his online supporters.
“Bobi Wine, this is between you and me, and I want to give you a warning. You are aware of what transpired at Kabalagala Police Station many years ago when I was just a young boy. What you did there and how the Police handled it is a secret I have kept for years. If I decide to disclose it, I assure you, the entire international community would question your credibility. Therefore, I advise you to tell your supporters to refrain from attacking my family, myself, and my HIV positive status, or else I will speak out in the upcoming elections. At this point, I have nothing to lose,” said Kats.
Over the years, the TV presenter has often clashed with NUP supporters online. Kats has repeatedly labeled Bobi Wine a hypocrite and a sellout, arguing that he lacks the moral standing to call out other musicians who collaborate with the current regime as greedy.
On numerous occasions, he has faced backlash from the NUP online community. At one point, he even told them that nothing they say can affect him now, especially since he survived a suicide attempt due to his HIV diagnosis. Meanwhile, it remains unclear what secret Kats holds against Bobi Wine that could potentially unsettle the 2026 presidential hopeful.
