Bukedea, Uganda — Rt. Hon Anita Among, the current Member of Parliament for Bukedea District, has expressed strong confidence in securing either an unopposed victory or achieving a 99% win in the upcoming elections for the Woman MP seat.
Speaking to the press yesterday at the Bukedea District headquarters after her official nomination, Anita highlighted her extensive service to the people of Bukedea as proof of her ability to deliver quality representation.
The Speaker said she is very confident of either running unopposed or winning with an overwhelming majority.
In addition to her re-election bid, Anita also threw her support behind Simon Ongura, who is contesting for the chairperson position of Bukedea District. She urged the people of Bukedea to elect Simon, describing him as a valuable asset to the district.
As the elections draw near, Rt. Hon Anita Among’s unopposed victory seems increasingly likely, with many residents expected to rally behind her in appreciation of her tireless efforts to serve the district.
