Abim , Uganda – Abim District is in dire need of confident and visionary leadership to address its pressing issues. According to Ogwang John Mike, a prominent figure and journalist who is contesting for the position of Abim LC5 (Local Council 5) Seat in 2026, the district requires a leader who can bring about meaningful change.

However, it has seen improvements in education standards and is predominantly inhabited by the Ethur tribe in the Labwor County constituency.
