In Nakuru County, a 57-year-old man passed away while he was at a hotel with his 21-year-old girlfriend. According to a police report filed under OB 09/24/10/2023, the incident occurred when the man checked into a hotel in Nakuru along with his girlfriend.
Around 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, the 21-year-old girlfriend hurried to the hotel’s reception area, reporting that the man was experiencing breathing difficulties. The hotel’s receptionist promptly notified the Kaptembwo police station, situated two kilometers away.
Officers from Kaptembwo police station, as well as Crime Scene and Investigations (CSI) personnel and detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Nakuru West, arrived at the scene and discovered the man’s lifeless body on the bed.
The police report mentioned, “The scene was visited, processed, and documented by officers from Kaptembwo police station, CSI personnel, and DCI Nakuru West, and found the body lying on the bed with no visible physical injuries.”
The man’s body has been transported to Nakuru County Municipal Morgue, where it awaits a post-mortem examination.
This incident occurred shortly after a 59-year-old man collapsed and died at his girlfriend’s residence in Kitengela, Kajiado County, just one week prior. According to the police report, the man collapsed after having lunch with his girlfriend, causing her distress.
The report stated, “At around 4:00 pm, as they were engaged in intimate activity, he lost consciousness. She placed him beside her, but unfortunately, the deceased had a sudden medical issue while on the bed.”
The girlfriend sought the assistance of her friend, John Kinywa, to transport him to the hospital.
The investigating officers are awaiting the results of the post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
