Lira,  Uganda – Prepare to celebrate the New Year 2025 on the 31st with an exciting event at Coronation Park in Lira City, featuring outstanding entertainment and performances from leading artists in the Lango sub-region and beyond,” said Okello Ken, one of the radio directors.

He added, “It’s time for the Q FM 2 Years Festival at Coronation Park as we celebrate it with fantastic entertainment and lots of giveaway prizes for our fans.”




According to the Director of the radio station, Q FM 94.3, Ken Okello, an extraordinary fireworks display that will illuminate the Lira sky for the first time will surprise many revelers. The event organizers are truly excited to amaze city dwellers and those outside Lira City with a grand fireworks show.




This occasion, known as the Q FM 2nd Year Festival, will showcase remarkable talents such as the award-winning artiste, Brazen Rule, and LiL Square, alongside popular Lira DJs, who will keep the energy high and pump up the music with a New Year’s beat.




A brand-new bike or 5 million shillings in cash will also be won by participants in the “Lak- Alid” Radio Game. The draw will be held before midnight, accompanied by the best fireworks display ever seen in the region.

In an interview with the station manager of Q FM, she confirmed that this year’s event will be marked with a lot of giveaways. She added that one can visit the Q FM reception to make a table reservation payment of 200,000 shillings, with special offers. Ordinary tickets are priced at 10,000 shillings, while VIP tickets are 20,000 shillings.

Atim Nancy, a senior staff and News Editor at Q FM, said they are expecting thousands of fans to turn up for the fireworks display. “Secure your tickets early, as they are in high demand,” added Atim.




Several places have been cleared in Lira for fireworks displays, including the Q FM radio station 94.3.
