LIRA, Uganda — In a heartfelt address during a cocktail party organized by his classmates over the weekend, Olang Sam, the newly appointed Assistant Resident City Commissioner of Lira City West Division, expressed his gratitude to various stakeholders for their support and encouragement throughout his journey to his current position.
The event served as a platform for celebrating and acknowledging the National Resistance Movement (NRM) government’s contributions to education and community empowerment.
During his speech, Olang Sam thanked the lecturers and fellow students of the Bachelor of Public Administration and Management program at Lira University for their prayers and unwavering support. He emphasized the importance of education in empowering individuals with knowledge that can lead to positive societal change.
“Education services are crucial in empowering people,” he stated, highlighting the NRM government’s commitment to enhancing educational opportunities across the country. He also thanked all the team players who have played a pivotal role in promoting educational standards in the country.
