The Beloved Church Network Crusade, set to take place in Lira City from January 17th to 19th, 2025, is expected to attract over 50,000 people from the Lango sub-region and beyond.
According to Bishop Patrick Benjamin Mabala, the General Coordinator of the crusade, several exciting gifts will be given away to believers through a raffle draw. The raffle ticket draw will commence on January 16th, 2025, at Mayor’s Garden in Lira City.
Among the prizes are a brand new motorcycle, three bicycles, mattresses, smartphones, and more. Bishop Mabala emphasized that every individual who attends the crusade with their family is eligible to participate in the raffle.
He also highlighted that the crusade will feature a football tournament dubbed “Beloved Tournament Cup,” involving teams from Bunyoro, Lango, and other regions. The tournament will be held at the former Akii-bua Stadium adjacent to Mayor’s Garden.
Bishop Dr. David Okello of Faith Mission Church Lira, who also serves as the Deputy Overseer of the National Fellowship of Born Again Churches in Lango, informed the media that all churches in the region are united in welcoming this significant event. He added that mobilization efforts are underway in Dokolo, Otuke, Alebtong, Aloi, Lira City, and other parts of the Lango sub-region, with crusade teams traveling in various vans across the region.
Hon. Awor Sarah Angweri, the Woman Representative for Lira City Council, has urged residents of Lango and beyond to attend the crusade in large numbers to witness healing miracles and experience the word of God.
The crusade will also feature international visitors from countries such as America, China, Kenya, and South Sudan.
Several renowned gospel artists, including Ambrose Lucky O. and Odong Bernard Ongom, will grace the occasion with their music.
The guest speaker for the crusade will be Pr. Sung-Won Jin.
