BUSIA, UGANDA – A 55-year-old taxi driver, Muhammad Mukungu, tragically lost his life at Mwesigwa Guest House in Kisenyi A village, Busia District, under unusual circumstances. The incident has left the community in shock.
Mukungu had checked into the guest house on the night of the tragedy. Reports indicate he initially entered the lodge with a female companion in the evening, and the two stayed together until approximately 11:00 p.m. After escorting the first woman out, he reportedly returned to the same room with another female friend to spend the rest of the night.
It was during this second encounter that the tragedy occurred: Mukungu collapsed in the middle of an intimate act and died on the spot. The woman who was with him immediately alerted lodge staff, who promptly called the authorities for assistance.
Police arrived at the scene and cordoned off the room as part of their preliminary investigation into the cause of death. The body was subsequently taken to Busia Health Centre IV for a postmortem examination to determine the exact medical reason behind the sudden demise.
While no foul play has been confirmed, investigators are considering possible underlying health conditions or exhaustion that could have contributed to the incident. Residents in the area have expressed both shock and curiosity, with many urging older individuals to exercise caution regarding their health during such activities.
