President Museveni and Kiira Motors Discuss Regional Market Opportunities
President Yoweri Museveni met with a delegation from Kiira Motors Corporation at State House Entebbe to discuss the progress of the Kayoola buses and explore opportunities for expanding into regional markets. Progress of Kayoola Electric Buses
Mr. Paul Isaac Musasizi, CEO of Kiira Motors Corporation, highlighted that the Kayoola buses have undergone successful market testing. The buses have traveled over 600,000 kilometers on routes in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania, receiving positive feedback for their efficiency and performance. The CEO has claimed this milestone underscores Kiira Motors’ commitment to delivering high-quality products.
President Museveni expressed his support for Kiira Motors Corporation and its initiatives. The meeting also included Hon. John Mulimba, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs – Regional Affairs, and Professor Sandy Stevens Tickodri Togboa, a key contributor to Kiira Motors Corporation.
