CFAO Mobility Uganda has unveiled the latest addition to the Toyota Land Cruiser family, the All-New Land Cruiser Prado “250 series.” This new design combines heritage with modernity, presenting a bold and powerful image.

Edwin Muhumuza, Country Sales Manager at CFAO Mobility, described the model as a significant milestone in the evolution of the iconic Land Cruiser, designed to uphold its values of robustness and reliability. With over 11.3 million units sold across 170 countries, the Land Cruiser remains one of Toyota’s best-selling models globally.

“We are thrilled to introduce the All-New Land Cruiser Prado to our customers in Uganda. Toyota’s goal for the new Land Cruiser ‘250’ series was to ensure that customers can go anywhere and return safely. This latest model retains the legendary Land Cruiser DNA while incorporating new technology for exceptional performance on and off the road,” said Muhumuza.

The new Land Cruiser Prado 250 series is built on the body-on-frame Toyota New Global Architecture GA-F platform, shared with the Land Cruiser 300. This platform provides excellent response, ride, and handling capabilities, both on and off-road. The model is equipped with innovative features such as the new Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism, setting a new standard for performance and versatility.

A major innovation in the new Land Cruiser Prado is its Electric Power Steering (EPS) system. This technology measures the driver’s steering force and adds suitable assisting torque to reduce the driver’s effort. The vehicle’s steering is smoother, and direct feedback into the steering wheel on uneven surfaces is greatly reduced.

Since its inception in 1951, the Land Cruiser has been a symbol of Toyota’s global presence, renowned for its reliability, durability, and off-road performance. Each Land Cruiser model has been crafted to tackle the toughest terrains, shaping its legendary status.
