Four counters were active in Tuesday’s trading session at the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE), generating a total turnover of sh12.8m, as reported by Crested Capital.
Stanbic took the lead in turnover with sh9.6m, followed by Umeme with sh2.6m. Airtel Uganda recorded sh481,000 in transactions, and MTN exchanged hands at sh151,000.
Looking at share price movements, Airtel Uganda experienced a 0.26% increase, reaching sh94.00 from its previous close. Stanbic showed a 0.09% gain, reaching sh32.03. Meanwhile, MTN incurred a 0.32% loss, settling at sh170, and Umeme traded at sh400.
The USE All Share Index (ALSI) witnessed a 0.15% decrease, closing at 871.21, while the C11, Crested’s index for local companies, concluded 0.01% lower at 98.67.
