Katy Perry Wears Barely-There Patriotic Ensemble While Celebrating Fourth of July

Katy Perry celebrated America’s Independence Day adorned in the iconic stars and stripes of the American flag. The singer shared a striking Instagram photo showcasing herself in a bedazzled red, white, and blue bathing suit top, paying homage to Rosie the Riveter’s famous “We Can Do It!” pose.

In addition to her patriotic ensemble, Perry used the occasion to promote her upcoming single, “Woman’s World,” set for release on July 11. This marks her highly anticipated return to the music scene following her recent appearance at Paris Fashion Week.

During Paris Fashion Week, Perry offered a glimpse of the song’s lyrics displayed on her elaborate red velvet Balenciaga dress. Although deciphering the exact words proved challenging due to the dress’s immense length, fans speculated that the lyrics conveyed themes of empowerment and strength, with phrases like “It’s a woman’s world and you’re lucky to be living in it” and “Fire in her eyes / Feminine divine.”

Reflecting on her experience, Perry expressed her sentiment on honoring the contestants: “I thought a good way to honor my time here would be to put the top 24 of each season on my skirt so they were all there. It was a fun surprise because I was raising up and you just saw more and more contestants.”
