Census Activities to Resume in Suspended Areas Today,” Says RDC Obongi

All residents and leaders of Kochi Boma, Allua, and Murerea villages in Itula Sub-County, Obongi District, have been informed that census activities will resume today, Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

According to the RDC of Obongi, Mr. Samuel Mpimbaza Hashaka, directives have been given from the center that enumeration should begin with immediate effect. He has therefore advised all enumerators and supervisors to be available for duty today by 7 am in the morning.




The RDC assured enumerators and the general public that security for this exercise has been guaranteed. All residents of the three villages are advised to cooperate with the census officials.




He was speaking to members of the press yesterday evening.
