The management of Centenary Bank has pledged to support the Inzu Yamasaba leadership in several projects that the Inzu Yamasaba leaders have embarked on. This was revealed by Madam Annet Nandelenga, the manager of Centenary Bank’s Mbale branch, when she and her team paid a courtesy visit to Umukuka III, His Royal Highness Jude Mike Mudoma, at the Inzu Yamasaba cultural offices in Maluku, Mbale City.
The spokesperson for Inzu Yamasaba, Steven Masiga, confirmed to this publication the pledge made by Centenary Bank to work closely with the cultural institution of the Bamasaba.
The meeting was attended by Inzu Yamasaba officials, including the Umukuka, His Royal Highness Jude Mike Mudoma, the Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Charles Walimbwa Peke, the Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Wamimbi Damiano, the spokesperson Mr. Steven Masiga, and Hon. Wedaira Nelson, among other officials.
The Centenary Bank team was led by Mr. Geoffrey from Mapera House. Other members included Legal Officer Madam Ashaba, Regional Branch Manager for Eastern Region Madam Ojiambo, Mbale Branch Manager Madam Annet Nandelenga, and Mr. O’Mara Martin, among others.
Umukuka III pledged to mobilize the Bamasaba to involve themselves in several programs under the initiative of Centenary Bank. He promised to link Centenary Bank to the Kenyan economy since he is the Umukuka for both Kenya and Uganda.
Mr. Steven Masiga, spokesperson for Inzu Yamasaba, said the Inzu Yamasaba leadership treasures initiatives such as this proposed by Centenary Bank and encouraged other banks to tap into the huge population under the leadership of Inzu Yamasaba, which numbers over 20 million people in both Kenya and Uganda.
The Centenary Bank team also donated some items to Inzu Yamasaba.
