An 18-year-old man has been arrested by the Rwenzori East Regional Police in connection with a cow theft incident in Kizungu Cell, Nyamwamba Division, Kasese Municipality.
The suspect, identified as Edgar Bwambale, is a resident of the same area. Police are currently searching for other individuals believed to be involved in the crime.
Rwenzori East Regional Police Spokesperson SP Nelson Tumushime confirmed the arrest during a press conference.
He also took the opportunity to warn motorists against overloading and speeding during the festive season, urging them to prioritize road safety.
