The arrests were made under “Operation Sanitise Obongi Kwa Kisaanja Hakuna Muchezo” (Operation Clean Obongi, No Games During the Term).

The four SACCO leaders were apprehended on the orders of Obongi Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Samuel Mpimbaza Hashaka during a baraza (public meeting) in Yenga trading center, Palorinya sub-county, on Saturday.
