Police in Hoima city cast division have apprehended four individuals, including a barmaid, over the mysterious disappearance of Felix Ndyomugabe in Kasomoro village. Ndyomugabe, 28, vanished around 9:00 pm on January 29, 2024, following a reported altercation with his colleagues.

Joslyn Tumuhaise, a resident of Kasomoro village, reported that Ndyomugabe, who was working on the farm of National Resistance Movement party vice-chairperson Vincent Savanna, went missing after a fight with his colleagues. The LC1 chairperson, Sam Azora, initiated a search operation with the help of the Police, residents, and relatives, but it proved unsuccessful.

Vincent Savanna confirmed Ndyomugabe’s disappearance and directed inquiries to the Police. Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Police region spokesperson, stated on Thursday that four individuals, including the barmaid from the drinking establishment where they were last seen, are currently in custody, assisting the Police with investigations. Hakiza did not disclose the identities of the arrested individuals to avoid compromising the ongoing investigation.
